Open Journal of Industry Applications

Get published in the new IEEE Open Journal of Industry Applications

In keeping with IEEE's continued commitment to providing options to support the needs of all authors, IEEE is introducing an Open Journal for the Industry Applications Society

Be among the first

We invite you to be among the first to have your article peer-reviewed and published in this new journal. This is an exciting opportunity for your research to benefit from the high visibility and interest the journal’s marketing launch will generate. Your work will also be exposed to 5 million unique monthly users of the IEEE Xplore® Digital Library.

The IEEE Open Journal of Industry Applications will draw on the expert technical community to continue IEEE’s commitment to publishing the most highly-cited content. The editor-in-chief is the distinguished Professor Pericle Zanchetta, Fellow IEEE, Faculty of Engineering, University of Nottingham, UK. Our goal is to publish quickly—the rapid peer review process is targeting a publication time frame of 10 weeks for most accepted papers. This journal is fully open and compliant with funder mandates, including Plan S.

Scope

The IEEE Open Journal of Industry Applications is dedicated to publishing articles on the latest emerging topics and trends in all aspects of the Industry Applications Society, that is, the advancement of the theory and practice of electrical and electronic engineering in the development, design, manufacture, and application of electrical systems, apparatus, devices, and controls to the processes and equipment of industry and commerce; the promotion of safe, reliable, and economic installations; industry leadership in energy conservation and environmental, health, and safety issues; the creation of voluntary engineering standards and recommended practices; and the professional development of its membership.

Articles will be screened for plagiarism before acceptance.

Unlike IEEE Transactions on Industry Applications, authors may submit papers directly to IEEE Open Journal of Industry Applications. There is no requirement to present preliminary results at a conference prior to submission to the journal. The author submission site is https://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/oj-ia.
