Standards Development Committee

IEEE Industry Applications Society (IAS) Industrial and Commercial Power Systems (I&CPS) Department’s Standards Development Committee (SDC) has a long history of developing key Industrial & Commercial Power Systems guides, recommended practices, and standards.  The historical work, published originally as the Color Books, which are currently being converted to the IEEE 3000 Standards Collection™, are the most comprehensive collection of recommended practices available. The SDC has developed and is developing new work in the data center and microgrid technical areas. We continue to create these documents in the technical areas monitored by our full range of committees. I&CPS is always looking for volunteers to join with us in this effort.
