This webinar provides a comprehensive overview of utility-scale BESS technology, covering current and emerging battery cell chemistries, technology trends, and the evolution of system architectures.

Bio: Dr. Ismael Miranda is a Technical leader with +14 years of significant experience in battery storage systems within the global renewable industry. Holds a Ph.D. in Electrical engineering from Porto, Portugal, and is proficient in performing detailed BESS design, BESS optimal sizing, Battery technology review, BESS EPC and O&M contract review, and market assessment. At Bureau Veritas, Ismael works as the Global Technical Lead for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) in the Global Product Line, where he is in charge of the global technical support, supervision of technical services provided globally, definition and revision of guidelines for services provided on BESS, including technical advisory, engineering and supply chain.
