“IEEE IAS Young Professional Webinars”
Dear prospective Speaker,
The , our +14,500 members technical family, spanning in +75 countries around the world, fosters the advancement of theory and practice to support professionals, engaged in the applications of Electrical & Electronic Engineering and associated professions.
IEEE IAS has a long-standing tradition in facilitating the personal and professional development of our student and young professional members. In this context, we are looking for a young professional candidate to serve as an Invited Guest Speaker, in our “IEEE IAS Young Professional Webinars.”
The Ideal Speaker should:
1. be employed by one of the Top Technology Companies (e.g. Google, Apple, Amazon etc.),
2. be below the age of 35 (so that students and YPs can relate to them),
3. hold a managerial position or leadership role,
4. be enthusiastic and a proven orator, one that can relate to the audience.
The presenter would ideally keep it less technical and speak more about their role and how to best navigate a successful career.
Our monthly webinars will ideally be hosted on a Wednesday or Thursday, between 11:00-14:00 EST and will last about 1 hour for the entire session, 40-50 minutes for presenting and 10-20 minutes of live Q&A.
The target audience of our first webinars, will mostly be young professional engineers and engineering students, from all around the world.
